Our client, an established logistics company based in Italy, is seeking to hire a talented and motivated Solution Design Engineer. As part of the team, you will be responsible for designing innovative solutions that help our clients achieve their business objectives while enhancing operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop end-to-end solution designs for contract logistics services.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design process flows and systems architecture.
- Conduct feasibility studies on new projects or initiatives.
- Create detailed project plans including timelines and budgets
- Ensure successful implementation of designed solutions through testing and training programs.
Qualifications & Skills Required:
To qualify for this role as a Solution Design Engineer at DSJ Global's client in Italy,
you must have:
Education/Experience Requirements
-A degree (or equivalent) within Engineering / Supply Chain Management discipline
-Minimum 2 years experience
Technical Competencies
-Knowledgeable about WMS/TMS technologies used by third-party warehousing providers.(e.g., Manhattan Associates,Warehouose Pro,Best Warehouse)
-Have hands-on experience using data analytics tools such as Python,R,C++ , SQL Server etc..
-Sound understanding of routing optimization principles
Soft skills requirements :
-Analytical thinking capabilities needed since they need to analyze various factors before coming up with effective logistical strategies .
-Great communication abilities required when conveying complex information clearly both writtenly/orally .This skill also comes handy during presentation sessions where one needs persuade stakeholders .
