Based in Leipzig you will be joining a company of over 8,000 employees in their mission to advance discovery and improve lives.
Main Responsibilities:
- Manage the main distribution center in Germany as well as 3 other satellite centers all serving large geographic regions
- Take the lead in complex problems and projects
- Assure proper import/export documentation and compliance
- Manage finished goods distribution center housing, medical devices and spare parts
- Drive site ERP system use population education and training an system improvements by collaborating with IT
- Develop the overall distribution strategy and provide input to senior management
Profile:
- Bachelor's/Master's degree or equivalent in business or in materials related field such as logistics, supply chain management
- Fluent in German and English (both verbal and written)
- GMP manufacturing experience
- Knowledge of LEAN principles
- Experience in setting up distribution data in ERP systems such as SAP
- Experience with quality systems, materials management, distribution, cost reduction and project management
- Extensive leadership experience
