As Buyer II, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the efficient and cost-effective procurement of materials and services required for our high-tech manufacturing processes. You will collaborate closely with suppliers, internal stakeholders, and other team members to secure the timely delivery of quality goods while adhering to our commitment to high-purity and performance standards.
The Buyer will be responsible for:
- Autonomous Work: Demonstrates the ability to work independently with minimal supervision, while promptly escalating areas of concern as needed.
- Cost-Effective Procurement: Plans and executes the procurement of parts and materials with a focus on achieving the lowest possible cost and investment, all while maximizing customer satisfaction.
- Material Availability: Ensures the availability of materials, particularly for higher-end commodities, electro-mechanical components, and mechanical fabricated parts.
The Buyer should have these following qualifications:
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred
- 5+ years experience as a buyer in a manufacturing environment
