Role Overview: As the Commercial Director, you will play a pivotal role in shaping our commercial strategy, aligning processes and services, and delivering tailored solutions to our clients. You will be part of the management team, contributing to the overall strategic direction of the company. This role involves overseeing sales, marketing, and customer care, ensuring productivity and excellence in all areas.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement commercial strategies to drive growth and profitability.
- Align processes and services to meet customer needs and enhance service delivery.
- Lead and mentor teams in sales, marketing, and customer care.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and ensure targets are met.
- Manage EBIT and incentive programs to drive performance.
- Collaborate with regional teams to ensure cohesive operations across the country.
- Maintain a hands-on approach, visiting large accounts and building strong client relationships.
Requirements:
- Proven track record in sales, marketing, and customer care.
- Experience in a similar role within the parcel delivery or logistics sector is preferred but not essential.
- Strategic thinker with the ability to align processes and services.
- Fluent in Dutch.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to mentor and develop teams.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with a hands-on approach.
- Ability to work in a non-corporate, dynamic environment.
- Willingness to travel frequently between Amsterdam and Rotterdam, with a base in Utrecht.
