Responsibilities :
- Implementing Lean Manufacturing processes throughout entire company
- Managing multiple lean projects to reduce waste and improve quality
- Utilizing lean tools such as MDI, Problem Solving, SMED, DFM, 5S, and more
- Planning & leading Kaizens and A3 projects
- Ensuring safety and ergonomic considerations are made relating to equipment, process and plant layout
- Overseeing completion of projects including planning & reviewing progress/evaluating results
- Developing lean skills and processes in the organization
- Sustaining management reports to reinforce the practice of lean principles
- Driving results in customer satisfaction, quality, on-time delivery, and financial performance
- Supporting the advancement and development of a TPS-based lean operating approach
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Industrial, or Manufacturing Engineering (or 4+ years of CI experience)
- Black Belt strongly preferred
- Experience in manufacturing and transactional environments dealing with technically complex products
- Proven track record of delivering results in a high-performance continuous improvement environment
- Mastery of a variety of TPS/Lean tools - VSM, Standard Work, Kaizens, Kanban, SIOP, 3P, and more
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to utilize independent judgement and critical thinking
- High attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to handle multiple projects/meet deadlines
