Corporate FSQA Manager Opportunity
Our client, one of the nation's fastest growing food production services is looking for a Food Safety & Quality Assurance Manager to join their rapidly expanding team. The Corporate FSQA Manager will be responsible for:
- Providing expertise and managing all product changes and approval processes to ensure strict document control
- Pushing innovation throughout the facility, specifically within process change management, and encouraging collaboration between cross functional groups / departments
- Developing and maintaining working knowledge of existing services and processes while simultaneously looking for places to improve process efficiency and effectiveness
- Mentoring and coaching junior employees in all food safety and quality standards and regulations
- Collaborating and overseeing international suppliers, co-manufacturers, and customers
- Developing and implementing new, state-of-the-art processes and procedures across cross-functional departments to ensure compliance with company policies
The Corporate FSQA Manager should have the following qualifications:
- Excellent team leader with a proven track record of leading a successful team and a desire to drive collaboration
- Work effectively with others in a hybrid work environment
- Proven expertise in the following:
- Process change management, food production / manufacturing, and GMP regulations
- Bachelor's degree preferred
- Strong oral and written communication skills; able to work autonomously and provide proactive communication with each of the facility's department
- Understanding of technology, specifically Excel, and keeping up to date with the latest industry developments and best practices
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to communicate raw material and finished product testing data
