Director of S&OP and Materials

Our building materials industry client is looking to bring on a Director of S&OP and materials that will lead the financial unit planning for all of North American business entities and support efficient integration between sales, operations, and global supply chain. This role will report into the VP of Supply Chain.
The ideal candidate will have experience leading SI&OP and IBP teams, have a lean six sigma black belt,, and a deep understanding of E2E Supply Chain interactions and interdependencies!
Director of S&OP and Materials Responsibilities:
- Leads a team of 20-24 directors, managers and analysts in the execution of IBP processes, configuration and material control projects.
- Provides technical leadership for replenishment material control systems for central procurement staff.
- Leads projects to drive improvements in standardization efforts and act as a project manager and change agent.
- Supports development of tools and reporting to monitor cross-functional KPIs to ensure effective performance of IBP process.
Director of S&OP and Materials Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Operations, Engineering or Finance is required
- 10+ years of business experience in Supply Planning, Demand Planning or Sales & Operations Planning with leadership roles
- Understanding of demand management, forecasting sales processes
- Experience working with global plants is required
- APICS CPIM is preferred
