About the Role
As the Director of Procurement Sustainability, you will lead our efforts to embed sustainability into our procurement strategies and operations. You will be responsible for developing and implementing policies that promote sustainable sourcing, reduce environmental impact, and enhance social responsibility across our supply chain.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Leadership: Develop and execute a comprehensive sustainability strategy for procurement, aligning with overall business goals and sustainability objectives.
- Policy Development: Create and enforce procurement policies that prioritise sustainable sourcing, ethical practices, and environmental stewardship.
- Supplier Engagement: Work closely with suppliers to ensure they adhere to our sustainability standards and collaborate on innovative sustainability initiatives.
- Performance Metrics: Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of sustainability initiatives within procurement.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner with internal and external stakeholders, including sustainability teams, suppliers, and industry groups, to drive sustainable practices.
- Risk Management: Identify and mitigate sustainability risks within the supply chain, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
- Reporting: Lead the development of sustainability reports and communicate progress to senior leadership and other stakeholders.
