Title: Lead Continuous Improvement Engineer
Summary: A global, multi-billion-dollar transportation company is currently seeking a dedicated and passionate Lead Continuous Improvement Engineer to join their team. The Lead Continuous Improvement Engineer would be responsible for implementing process improvement, collecting data and statistical analysis, and developing advanced competency in a wide range of engineering methods. As the lead, this role would also be supervising the Continuous Improvement team on site.
The Lead Continuous Improvement Engineer will be responsible forโฆ
- Design, implement, monitor, and maintain the QMS
- Lead the execution of Lean Assessments
- Perform all functions of Quality Assurance
- Provide regular reports of data and statistical analysis to drive process improvement
- Coach process owners how to use engineering and Lean methods to achieve operational excellence
The Lead Continuous Improvement Engineer should have the following qualificationsโฆ
- Bachelors degree in Engineering, Business, or Supply Chain
- 6+ years of related experience
- Warehouse engineering
- Knowledge of Lean, TPS, QMS
- Previous 3PL experience
- Automation knowledge a plus
