Our client, a leading company in the chemical sector, is seeking a Manager - Sustainability Purchasing to join their team in Hamburg. This is a permanent role that offers the chance to make a real impact on the company's sustainability efforts.
As the Manager - Sustainability Purchasing, you will be responsible for leading the procurement team in East Germany and ensuring that sustainability is at the forefront of all purchasing decisions. You will work closely with the HR team to ensure that the company's sustainability goals are integrated into all aspects of the business.
To be successful in this role, you must have experience in Household Goods Manufacturing and a strong understanding of HR & Procurement Functions. You must also have a deep understanding of sustainability and be able to lead the company in its efforts to become more sustainable.
In addition to the mandatory skills listed above, the following desirable skills will also be considered:
- Knowledge of sustainable supply chain management
- Experience in project management
- Strong communication and leadership skills
