Responsibility
- Work out the tactical plans regarding strategy and market status
- Initiate the execution plans to achieve the project goals in associated with procurement strategies
- Lead the procurement team for strategy implementation by reviewing the performance and providing guidance
- Keep high sensibility of market movement in terms of prices, supply, industry status to timely adjust project plans
- Deal with challenges and solve problems
- Support team in dealing with challenges of supplier negotiations for prices and contracts as well as all the activities in related with KPIs
- Understand project status, analysis key factors and provide ideas for solutions when team faces difficulties or challenges
- Help team to seek for resources in order for running on-track to align with project objectives and timelines
- Cross-functional communication and cooperation
- Attend the key discussions across stakeholders to make a balance agreement to both sides for the most benefits to company
- Conduct the communications with cross-functional departments to find the common ground for works
- Deal with conflicts with stakeholders for team to ensure project movements on track
- Build good relationship with stakeholders by well communication and cooperation
- Supplier relationship management to support business growth
- Lead team to maintain the good communication and relationship with suppliers
- Host the S&OP meeting with key suppliers to obtain the best supports from suppliers whatever aspects.
- Work out the short/long term procurement strategy by share the business strategies each other
- Optimize the supplier resources to support business growth by new opportunities
- Leadership and talent development
- Coach team members in building the procurement functional skills
- Verify talent and give proper development plans
- Train skill sets of procurement by assigned projects and learning from operations
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelors Degree in Business, Supply Chain or related, Engineering is a plus, or an equivalent combination of education and work experience.
- Minimum 8 years of progressively responsible experience in purchasing/commodity management (direct & indirect are preferred )and highly regulated environment
- Minimum 2 years working with purchasing/SAP related system.
- Strong experience in negotiating terms in purchasing agreements. In depth experience in contract management.
- Ability to work in a highly matrixed and geographically diverse business environment.

- Strong verbal and written communications with ability to effectively communicate at multiple levels in the organization.
- Strong organizational and follow-up skills, as well as attention to detail.
