Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Support & participate in APAC based product development process, based on product requirements, market/ customer needs, margin targets and calendar timelines.
- Manage commercialization for APAC based product development. Lead or partner with Product Line Manager on bi-annual product launches to communicate product rules, pricing, selling proposition, technical details, strategy and stories to drive key initiatives and ultimately grow the apparel market segment.
- Proficient in providing robust post launch analysis tracking new product growth and guidance on positioning modification and internal process improvement.
- Assist Product Line Manager in the development of the Apparel product roadmap/ strategy through analyzing, interpreting global market trends and socializing throughout organization.
- Facilitate collaborative work environment by interacting with functional teams, including design, product development, planning, manufacturing, supply chain, sourcing, purchasing and finance.
- Specify product and market requirements for current and future products by conducting qualitative and quantitative market research, supported by on-going customer engagement.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field.
- 5+ years of product management experience in the Apparel industry, or for a manufacturing company.
- Exceptional cross functional communication skills and ability to listen to voice of customer.
- Positive and open minded, proactive, flexible and adapt to changes. Drive action & execution base on results.
- Experience with project management best practices
- Strong Excel capabilities or other database platforms
- Knowledgeable and passionate about the Apparel industry
- Understanding of product development process
- This position requires up to 20% of time traveling
