With multiple locations open, this Fortune 500 company is currently looking to grow their Quality department! Locations include Iowa, Minnesota, Illinois and Georgia.
Responsibilities include:
- Implementing and assisting in documentation of changes to quality assurance monitoring programs on products, raw materials and packaging
- Assisting in the implementation and maintenance of SPC, HACCP and FDA programs
- Overseeing food safety and quality programs
- Directly managing a team of quality auditors
- Assisting in training of hourly employees (in relation to sanitation, food safety and plant quality control)
- Communicating with the appropriate operations personnel to resolve daily problems
- Implementing and driving continuous improvement processes
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in a related field
- 3+ years of food, beverage or manufacturing experience
- Working knowledge of food safety and QA programs
- Knowledge of USDA, HACCP, FDA, FSMA and SOP requirements
- Certification (PCQI, HACCP, SQF)
- Strong problem-solving, decision-making and project management skills
- Continuous improvement experience
