DSJ Global is partnered with a leading minerals and mining company that is looking to add a Quality Control Supervisor to their team in Crab Orchard, Tennessee. This role will primarily be responsible for directly supervising laboratory staff, overseeing the quality control testing process, and managing the quality management system.
Position: Quality Control Supervisor
Location: Crab Orchard, Tennessee
Responsibilities:
- Direct supervision of lab staff at two plant locations.
- Maintain lab schedules, budgets, and equipment.
- Oversee quality control testing and communicate results.
- Train and mentor team members.
- Handle customer interactions and manage the Quality Management System.
- Lead Safe Quality Feed Program efforts and support operations.
- Perform additional assigned duties.
Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years of previous project leader, supervisory quality, process engineering, or laboratory experience in a heavy fast paced manufacturing, construction, and/or mining/mineral processing environment is required.
- AA degree in Chemistry, Sciences, Engineering, or related field.
- Strong leadership, communication, and Microsoft Office skills.
- Knowledge of ISO 9001:2015 and Safe Food practices.
Physical Demands: Severe weather tolerance, access to various site areas, and ability to lift 50 pounds.
