Senior Global Buyer
Consumer Goods Industry
One of the nation's leading consumer goods organizations is currently seeking a Senior Global Buyer to aid in the success of their team in the Greenville, SC area. You will be responsible for providing leadership and developing global category strategies to achieve low cost and maximum value within the company. You will have the ability to work closely with other departments to align goals across the organization.
The Senior Global Buyer will be responsible for:
- Constructing and managing sourcing plans and strategies
- Improving KPI's by continuously working towards and researching cost savings for the company
- Negotiating contracts and maintaining vendor relationships
- Leading and managing a global team in order to set and execute goals
- Supervising the development of domestic and international market analysis
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree with 5+ years of relevant experience within Procurement
- Global procurement experience is a plus
- A qualified background in the Consumer Product Goods Industry is a plus
- Knowledge and experience managing vendor relations and negotiating contracts
- Ability to work cross-functionally with other departments in the business
- Willing to work in office with occasional travel
