Responsibilities:
- Manage the pricing function in the periodic update of standard Product and Pricing Catalogue reviews across all business units
- Work closely with local Sourcing team (By providing guidance to Pricing Standards and Tactical Pricing Plans) and Finance team (By establishing Sales and GP Dashboard for more efficient Sales and GP forecast and monitoring)
- Conduct benchmarking/ pricing analysis to maximize market share and take initiative in identifying, researching, and resolving pricing issues
- Continuously review gross margins on a global, regional, country level as and when required per global client basis
- Participate in strategic RFQ, tender activities, projects and/or duties as assigned
- Follow up with strategic suppliers on key master contracts and establishing and maintaining Global Price Lists
- Perform sanction checks on new suppliers through the EthixBase System and follow up with legal team based on the outcome of the preliminary sanction check
- Preparation of standard and ad hoc reports as and when agreed required
- Manage and develop basic to complex costing models to support pricing of new services or products across a variety of geographical markets and industry verticals
- Lead process to reduce non-standard pricing request by ensuring our standard product and pricing is reviewed and maintained to match market trends
- Review and align contracts to company's Best Commercial Practice and regulatory conditions
Requirements:
- Experience in pricing, sourcing, procurement, customer service, sales or product administration or closely related experience
- Experience working in a medical supply chain environment/medical supplies industry and good understanding of medical supplies products would be a plus
- Advanced excel skills to build simple to complex pricing models
- Demonstrate technical competency with market research skills including but not limited to computer analysis, statistics, data collection, problem formulation, data interpretation and forecasting
- Successful problem solving and relationship building skills and the ability to resolve conflicting situations and communicate effectively with both internal and external clients.
