This position will be based in the south of Germany with the opportunity for hybrid work
Your responsibilities:
- Source and procure mechanic components and parts based on aerospace industry drawings.
- Lead commercial negotiations with suppliers, ensuring favorable terms and conditions.
- Establish and maintain framework agreements to streamline procurement processes.
- Oversee deadlines, manage capacity planning, and coordinate the supply chain for seamless operations.
- Identify, assess, and cultivate new suppliers, including exploring untapped procurement markets.
- Develop and execute procurement strategies in alignment with business goals.
- Bridge the gap between purchasing, design, and production during project phases.
- Ensure seamless supplier integration within project and series workflows.
- Play an active role in purchasing projects, such as work transfers and best-cost country initiatives.
Your profile:
- A degree in mechanical engineering, business administration, industrial engineering, or related field.
- Several years of proven experience in the purchasing field.
- Proficient in utilizing the Infor LN ERP system and MS Office applications.
- Fluent in both German and English languages.
- Possess an excellent grasp of technical and economic concepts.
- Display a confident and assertive demeanor.
