DSJ Global have partnered exclusively with one of the largest consumer goods furnishing companies within Europe, and are searching for a Senior Supply Chain manager. The ideal candidate is responsible for developing and implementing a supply strategy that delivers the lowest total cost, reduces inventory, and maximises customer satisfaction through world class service.
Responsibilities
- As Senior Supply Chain manager you are responsible for controlling the flow of goods from the supplier to the end customer in close cooperation with the stakeholders as well as the planning, design and implementation of sustainable logistics processes
- Identification of best practice approaches and business cases to optimise costs, service and quality
- Monitoring of an optimal readiness for delivery, taking into account the minimum stocks, BBD ranges as well as the replenishment lead time and seasonal peculiarities
- Implementation of goods flow controlling including analysis and creation of relevant KPIs
- Adaptation and control of central parameter settings as well as the optimisation of delivery structures and processes for quality and inventory optimisation
Requirements:
- Successfully completed studies with a focus on logistics, supply chain management, business administration, e-commerce or a comparable course
- At least 5 years of professional experience as a supply chain manager (m/f/d) or project manager (m/f(d)) in logistics, ideally B2C
- Structured and independent way of working, very good analytic thinking and communication skills
- Lean management knowledge is an advantage
- Good SAP DB3 and BWP knowledge and strong IT affinity
- Fluent English and German skills
