Our client, a global Electronics Manufacturing Services organization is looking to add a driven and diligent Supply Chain Manager. Founded in 1991, this company has focused on assisting OEM customers to improve profitability, reduce risk, and improve their customer satisfaction in 15 locations worldwide. This position will be responsible for overseeing all of procurement, planning, inventory control, warehouse, and shipping functions, as well as building and maintaining supplier relationships, strategic sourcing of components, and negotiating strategic agreements with the supply base. One other important factor of the role will be to lead and develop staff members who will be reporting into you.
Job Responsibilities:
- Ensure that all aspects of Supply Chain are included in the strategy (i.e., supplier long-term strategic collaboration, inventory obsolescence, on time delivery, new business development, supplier quality development, and vendor management)
- Develop negotiation strategies and lead negotiations with potential and existing suppliers, including Long Term Agreements, Blanket Agreements and VMI
- Manage material budgets, monitor material cost to ensure purchasing performance meet the financial objectives
- Evaluate current stage and strive continuous improvement to meet the key performance index
- Manage all aspects of planning group and functions including, master scheduling, production scheduling and capacity planning
- Ensure manufacturing plans are accurate, stable and aligned with business requirements, capabilities and other objectives
- Oversee warehouse personnel and all functions; Develop methods for improvements
- Support weekly meetings and provide key data for Management
Qualifications:
- Strong capability in Microsoft office, emphasis on excel
- Strong knowledge and expertise of Supply Chain processes and best practices; ability to develop and implement initiatives
- Minimum 10 years of purchasing and materials experience
- 3 years Supervisory experience preferred
- CPSM preferred
- AA or BA degree in Supply Chain or Business-related area
