As their new Category Manager, you will be joining them on their journey towards global transformation. You'll lead and support strategic sourcing activities across various categories while driving continuous improvement initiatives within supply chain management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop long-term strategies that optimise cost-effectiveness through collaboration with stakeholders
- Lead negotiations for contracts including pricing agreements
- Analyse market trends to ensure competitiveness of products/services offered by suppliers
- Provide leadership over cross-functional teams during supplier selection processes
Qualifications/ Skills Required:
-Directs experience is required.
-Relevant degree from accredited institution would be preferred but not required.
-Proven track record developing successful partnerships internally as well as externally
-Able to build relationships at all levels both inside & outside the company
-Knowledgeable about Defence Procurement Regulations
