Director of Strategic Sourcing - Marketing

The Director is responsible for developing and deploying sourcing strategy for Director of Strategic Sourcing - Marketing within the organization Through cross-functional influencing and technical knowledge, the Director of Strategic Sourcing - Marketing builds and executes a supply chain road map for this category.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Work directly with the Marketing team to lead Strategic Sourcing projects
- Influencing stakeholders and providing the leadership, strategy and policy for the function
- Be able to establish the strategic sourcing process for marketing for the business
- Interact with executive leaders across the business on a daily basis
- Deliver the annual financial and non-financial targets for the portfolio regionally or globally, including cost savings.
- Develop and communicate a procurement portfolio strategy; establish, communicate and implement long-term goals for the portfolio in order to promote effectiveness and efficiency
- Act as a Subject Manager Expert to internal stakeholders on marketing procurement processes
- Working on a global scale day today
- Is KPI driven leading the team to achieve annual savings targets
REQUIREMENTS
- BS in Supply Chain Management, Business, Finance, Marketing or related field
- MBA or advanced degree and/or relevant certification preferred
- 8+ years experience in a marketing procurement function
- Possesses a strong business acumen
- Strong problem-solving skills, organization skills, and attention to detail
- Experience in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
