Responsibilities:
- Develop and administer facility EHS programs to ensure compliance and promote sustainability.
- Lead the site's EHS safety committee and be part of the plant Leadership Team.
- Establish and enhance the facility's EHS Management System, incorporating best practices.
- Plan, prioritize, and drive improvements in facility EHS goals.
- Support department managers and employees in implementing creative safety and environmental initiatives.
- Conduct EHS inspections, assessments, and incident investigations, providing recommendations and tracking corrective actions.
- Evaluate materials, processes, and equipment for compliance and safety.
- Deliver comprehensive EHS training and foster a strong EHS culture.
- Develop, implement, and review EHS policies, procedures, and guidelines.
- Monitor compliance with EHS regulations, maintain records, and prepare reports.
- Oversee incident reporting, resolution, and resources management.
Qualifications:
- Demonstrated experience in process improvement, problem solving, and root cause analysis.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Highly organized with strong interpersonal abilities.
- Proficient in Microsoft software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and adaptable to other programs.
- Bachelor's degree in EHS, engineering, or related field.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant EHS experience in a manufacturing setting.
