An innovative Automotive company is seeking an Electric Vehicle Engineer to join their team on-site in the Bay Area. You will be part of a rapidly growing, venture-backed start-up that aims to convert gasoline vehicles to electric using technology and scale.
As an EV Engineer, you will work on a multi-discipline team, and your responsibilities will include designing and testing EV systems to be integrated into vintage vehicles.
Responsibilities:
- Conducting tests of new components, assemblies, and systems; maintaining accurate records of test results.
- Installing parts and components on prototype vehicles, maintaining accurate records of the installation of these parts.
- Conducting tests of electric vehicles both on road and on the bench.
- Prototyping electrical harnesses.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree or Two-Year Technical Degree in Electrical Engineering or related technical field.
- 5+ years of experience in a related field.
- Experience with automotive mechanics.
- Experience with high voltage battery and battery management systems.
- Experience developing EV electrical systems.
Desired Skills:
- Modeling Electrical systems using CAD software
- Experience with EV conversions
