Title: Seeking an Engineering Manager for our Houston-based Pharmaceutical Manufacturing Client
Our client, a leading pharmaceutical manufacturing company based in Houston, is seeking an experienced and dynamic Engineering Manager to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing technical guidance and leadership to the engineering team while ensuring that manufacturing processes are functioning optimally.
Position Summary:
As the Engineering Manager at our 503B Outsourcing facility located in Texas, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing critical aspects of operations by coordinating with cross-functional teams from Operations to Quality Assurance. You'll lead projects aimed at enhancing efficiency within the organization as well as mentor your subordinates on how best they can improve performance levels across all departments.
Responsibilities:
- Lead project execution according to set timelines
- Resolve challenges promptly when presented
- Optimize process improvements geared towards improving productivity without compromising quality standards.
-Collaborate closely with other cross-functional groups such as Facility Maintenance or QA among others; maintain compliance protocols related regulatory requirements
Skills & Qualifications:
The ideal candidate should possess knowledge of Lean Six Sigma methodology along with proficiency using Microsoft Office tools like Excel/Word/PowerPoint/Outlook etc..They must also have demonstrated experience managing people (5+ years), excellent interpersonal skills including both written/oral communication skillsets capable enough effectively engaging any member regardless level management hierarchy involved . They would need good problem-solving abilities too - being able make sound decisions even under pressure situations where there may not always be clear-cut answers available!
Experience Requirements:
A Bachelor's degree accredited college/university qualification majoring specifically into engineering field plus five-plus-year proven experience working within senior-level positions throughout pharma-manufacturing industry sector.
