DSJ Global is delighted to be partnered with a leading machinery manufacturing company with over 20,000 employees. Our client are currently looking for an experienced and skilled Senior Project Manager to lead project teams across logistics and distribution. Based in Ludwigsburg, the successful candidate will be responsible for logistics, packaging, and distribution projects across Europe while implementing new concepts and holding responsibility for the projects' results.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage project teams
- Oversee logistics projects throughout European locations
- Create & implement new concepts within logistics, warehousing & distribution in Ludswigsburg
- Develop innovative solutions with focus on continuous improvement
- Testing and implementation of new logistics technologies in the supply chain
- Optimisation of existing distribution centres, plan and implement new locations and defining processes
Qualifications:
-Established experience within industrial background
-Experience managing international transportation/distribution networks
-Intercultural understanding & fluent English, good German is prerequisite
-Project leadership experience, ideally in logistics/restructuring projects
-Experience with IT systems (SAP R/3, EWM, S/4HANA, WMS systems)
