Title: Facilities Maintenance Supervisor
Location: Fargo, ND
A global leader in the Life Sciences industry is seeking an experienced Facilities Maintenance Supervisor to be responsible for the supervision and performance of building and equipment maintenance.
The Facilities Maintenance Supervisor will have the following responsibilities:
- Supervising and performing preventative and corrective maintenance on all building systems and utilities, as well as manufacturing equipment
- Planning and coordinating training programs to develop cross-trained, self directed work teams aligned with total facilities management concepts
- Planning and overseeing work of all facilities employees
- Establishing deadlines, work sequences, priorities, and overall assignments based on work schedules, projects, and methods
- Coordinating work with supporting functions controlled by other supervisors
- Ensuring clear and timely communication across all activities within the facilities department
- Ensuring all employees are in compliance with safety procedures and resolve any observed and/or reported violations
The ideal Facilities Maintenance Supervisor MUST have the following qualifications:
- High School Diploma required
- Associate or Bachelor Degree in Construction, Electrical, HVAC, or related field preferred
- Minimum of five years maintenance experience is required
- Minimum of two years leadership experience is preferred
- Strong mechanical problem solving skills required
- Must have a valid driver's license
- Electronic troubleshooting and repair experience is preferred
- Commercial or industrial facilities maintenance is preferred
