An automobile manufacturer(OEM) who have around 80.000 employees worldwide are looking for a Field Quality Engineer to join their team.

Responsibilities
Monitor and analyze customer feedback and complaints to identify quality issues
Conduct field investigations and assessments to determine the root cause of quality issues
Develop and implement corrective actions to improve product quality and reduce customer complaints
Collaborate with manufacturing and design teams to identify and implement process and design improvements
Develop and maintain quality metrics and reports to track progress and identify opportunities for improvement
Provide technical support and guidance to internal and external stakeholders on quality-related issues
When conducting field investigations as a Field Quality Engineer, you will be responsible for collecting and analyzing data on quality issues and trends that have been reported by customers, dealerships, or service centers. You will be required to visit the field locations where the issues have been reported, which may include logistic centers, dealerships, service centers
During your field investigation, you will need to thoroughly inspect the vehicle, its components, and related systems to determine the root cause of the quality issue. This may involve testing the performance of the vehicle, taking measurements, conducting diagnostic tests, and reviewing technical documents
You will also need to communicate with customers and service technicians to gather additional information about the issue, as well as to answer any questions they may have. You will be required to document all findings and provide recommendations for corrective actions to improve product quality
This job requires to travel frequently to various field locations across EU and globally

Requirements
Technical university degree - Preferably Electric or similar (Mechanical, Aerospace..)
At least 5 years of experience in Automotive Quality (preferably working on electric vehicles)
Experience with testing (such as: NVH, Electrical systems testing, Materials testing) and measuring tools (Chassis dynamometer, Accelerometers, Diagnostic instrument, Microscope, DC power supply, Multimeter, Oscilloscope)
Experience in treating non-conformities
Basic experience in production processes
Willingness to travel
English proficiency
Hands on attitude as well as attention to details
