Head of Logistics
Location: Frankfurt Area, Germany
About The Opportunity: An established & renowned electrical parts supplier in APAC, with a diverse product portfolio & a wide range of industry solution customers. Growing quickly within Europe & now requiring a Head of Logistics to lead the function on-site, close to Frankfurt. The chosen candidate will be able to work remotely 1-2 days per week. Leadership experience within logistics is required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage the entire logistics operations, ensuring efficient and timely delivery of products.
- Develop and implement logistics strategies to optimize supply chain processes.
- Coordinate with various departments to ensure seamless operations.
- Manage and mentor the logistics team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
- Monitor and analyze logistics performance metrics, implementing corrective actions as needed.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.
Requirements:
- Fluent in both English and German.
- Several years of experience in a senior logistics role, preferably within the manufacturing sector.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities.
- Proficient in logistics software and tools.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
