Journeyman - Maintenance
Work for a company with 150 years of experience in Infrastructure and Industrial manufacturing. This company is the leading expert in iron casting and is known for being the largest independent foundry in the US. They are looking for a Journeyman with a strong background in maintenance and machinery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Observe all mechanical operations of equipment (gauges, dials, etc) to troubleshoot any potential problems
- Worth alongside upper management and production to fulfil any repairs and maintenance on equipment
- Conduct routine maintenance including preventive and predictive on the machines
- Utilize mathematics knowledge to troubleshoot and repair
- Replace or install new machinery using strong mechanical practices
- Use written instructions to perform maintenance and conduct repairs on machinery
Requirements:
- High School diploma
- Maintenance Mechanic Journeyman Card or 10 years of maintenance mechanic experience
- 3+ years of Journeyman maintenance mechanic experience
- Provide your own tools (up to 1/2" drive)
- Experience in a foundry preferred
