Maintenance Supervisor Job Description:
Responsibilities:
Direct maintenance activities during assigned shifts, ensuring safety and efficiency.
Oversee and participate in maintenance tasks alongside team members.
Coordinate repair and maintenance of equipment with maintenance planners, purchasing, and vendors.
Monitor production equipment uptime and efficiencies, driving improvements.
Train and qualify employees for necessary functions and safety protocols.
Conduct safety inspections, provide training, and investigate accidents.
Manage contracted maintenance resources and continuous improvement projects.
Ensure compliance with state and federal environmental regulations.
Perform administrative duties including report writing and expenditure approval.

Knowledge of machine design, repair, and maintenance.
Critical thinking skills for problem-solving and troubleshooting.
Proficiency in hydraulics, mechanics, pneumatics, and basic electrical functions.

Requirements:
High School diploma or equivalent required (associate's or bachelor's degree preferred).
Five years of industrial maintenance experience (ten years preferred).
Three years of supervisory experience in a medium to heavy industrial environment.
Bilingualism (Spanish-English) beneficial but not required.
Physical Requirements:
Lift, push, or pull up to 50 lbs occasionally, and up to 20 lbs frequently.
Walk, stand, or sit continually; occasionally squat, kneel, or climb.
Manual dexterity for tool manipulation and computer systems.
Correctable vision and hearing for communication and safety.
