Introduction:
DSJ Global is currently seeking an experienced and skilled Maintenance Supervisor to join one of the leading Paper and Pulp Manufacturing companies located in Emporia, Virginia. This permanent position offers exceptional career growth opportunities for those who have minimum 2 years of leadership experience with preventative maintenance knowledge.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervising and managing all aspects of Preventative Maintenance programs
- Troubleshooting electro-mechanical equipment issues
- Leading improvement projects on tooling within plant operations
- Oversee andd lead a group of maintenance technicians to processes affecting EHS, reliability, quality, and production
- Attend daily departmental down day scheduling meetings, assisting the Scheduler with craft identification to work orders
Qualifications:
- Minimum two years' experience working at a supervisory level
- Relevant qualification or trade certification (Mechanical / Electrical Engineering)
- Demonstrated understanding of safety standards related to manufacturing environment
- Strong communication skills required.
- Proficient computer literacy including MS Office Suite applications (Word & Excel).
- Ability to work independently without supervision while meeting scheduled deadlines.
- Electrical/ controls experience ( Rockwell PLC modifications, HMI, SCADA) - preferred
