Summary:
DSJ Global is partnered with a leading aerospace manufacturer to find a Manufacturing Engineer to join their team. The position would involve the development of products and heat treatment processes, proposing products and tests, and oversees the maintenance of treatment processes.
Job Responsibilities:
- Manage the implementation of the treatment production facility.
- Oversee heat treatment projects related to aerospace component engineering.
- Establishes and maintains manufacturing methods that align with safety and productivity expectations.
- Implements process improvements and works alongside others on the manufacturing team and other personnel.
- Act as a liaison between customers and suppliers when necessary.
- Work cross-functionally with other teams to ensure efficient processes throughout the facility.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree (B.S.) in an engineering or related technical field (preferably Materials Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering).
- Minimum of 4 years directly related on-the-job engineering or production experience preferably within the aerospace environment preferred.
- Experience with AMS2750 preferred.
- NADCAP, AS9000 and/or ISO 9000 quality system familiarity is a plus.
- Must be able to understand and interpret complex blueprints, customer specifications, and engineering sketches.
