Title: MES Software Engineer - Crafting Safe and Efficient Manufacturing Solutions
Purpose of the Job:
As an MES Engineer, you'll play a pivotal role in enhancing, maintaining, and optimising the recipes and worksheets essential for Lire Sensors production. Your primary goal is to ensure the site delivers high-quality products through our MES System, meeting customer demands while upholding regulatory compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
Offer comprehensive support for all MES applications on-site, particularly POMSNet.
Collaborate in workshops with stakeholders from various departments to align recipe designs with process flows.
Work closely with Operations, Supply Chain, Engineering, IT, and Quality teams to provide efficient MES site support.
Ensure adherence to relevant Policies and Procedures, contributing to the creation of Work Instructions and Procedures to uphold compliance.
Coordinate and execute process and equipment projects related to MES, including validation of new processes and development of technical documentation.
Uphold compliance with Corporate and Divisional Policies, undertaking additional duties as delegated by management.
Develop, test, and validate recipes requiring integration with systems like SAP, databases, and PLCs.
Design, author, develop, and configure Electronic Batch Records (EBRs).
Implement MES solutions and integrate them with ERP systems and control equipment.
Document MES configuration and validate EBRs thoroughly.
Education and Experience:
Prior experience in Software validation within the Medical devices industry is advantageous.
Bachelor's degree in Computing, IT, or related fields preferred, or equivalent experience in manufacturing, Quality, or engineering.
Familiarity with the POMSnet system is beneficial.
Proficiency in C# coding and SQL Database management is essential.
Knowledge of PTL, XML, and Power Automate is desirable.
