DSJ Global is currently partenered with a leading Manufacturer of Special Heavy Equipment. They are looking to bring on a New Product Development Engineer to their growing team who will be designing mechanical, structural, and electro-mechanical products and systems.
NPD Engineer Responsibilities:
- Design mechanical and electro-mechanical products and systems as necessary.
- Develop layout models and drawings, overseeing revisions and validating detail drawings from design modelers.
- Conduct inspections before shipping to ensure proper construction and address any discrepancies.
- Deliver technical presentations on equipment operation and maintenance, utilizing expertise in effective public speaking.
- Travel to customer installations, collaborating with Sales to consult, measure existing equipment, and create layout sketches and drawings for proposed equipment or modifications.
NPD Engineer Preferred Skills:
- 4 Year Engineering degree required
- Proficiency in English, both written and verbal, is essential.
- Excellent communication skills, including written, verbal, and computer-based communication.
- Preferred experience in drafting and proficiency in AutoCAD/SolidWorks.
