A leading manufacturer of educational materials is looking for an Operations Manager to take on the leadership duties in the warehouses. This position is responsible for all inbound/outbound functions and inventory levels. This position would also be responsible for creating a uplifting an encouraging environment.
Key responsibilities:
- Creating and implementing standard KPI's for the team
- Maintain inbound and outbound operations
- Tracking and maintaining inventory levels and accuracy
- Ensure compliance with federal, state and local warehousing requirements
- Develop ongoing process improvements for all associates
Ideal Qualifications:
- 5+ years in a leadership role
- Strong knowledge of inbound/outbound operations
- Knowledge of safety practices and OSHA requirements
- Ability to be flexible and problem solve is a problem arises
