Production Supervisor required for leading Food Production Firm

An industry leading Food Production firm is seeking a strong Production Supervisor who will be responsible for providing a safe, clean, and healthy work environment. The Production Supervisor will oversee the production of the entire plant while making sure to establish a positive, motivating work environment.
The Production Supervisor Will Be Responsible For:
- Monitor production floor activities to ensure lines are operating safely and on schedule
- Investigate potential issues with production lines and work with the team to rectify quickly
- Develop, coach and upscale employees
- Ensure production activities are in compliance with FDA, USDA and company standards
- Develop, implement and maintain operational KPIs/SOPs to maximize manufacturing productivity
- Create, build, and maintain employee relationships at all levels
- Promote a continuous improvement mindset within the plant
- Utilize LEAN manufacturing principles to drive efficiencies
- Conduct team meetings regularly to update on progress
The Production Supervisor Should Have The Following Skill Set:
- 3+ years manufacturing experience
- Experience in a food production or similar manufacturing environment
- Enthusiastic personality and servant leadership style
- Experience in a meat, dairy or similar FDA/USDA regulated processing plant
- Clear and confident communication skills
