DSJ Global is currently partnered with a globally leading chemicals company who is looking to add a Process Engineer to their growing team. The Process Engineer provides engineering support including process design, improvement, and troubleshooting for a commodity chemical manufacturer. The Process Engineer will also be involved in capital projects and may also serve as the project manager on select projects.
The Process Engineer will be responsible for:
- Work closely with plant management to optimize plant processes.
- Collaborate on capital projects to ensure proper process design and equipment specification.
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for manufacturing.
- Drive continuous improvement of plant manufacturing processes and systems.
- Assist with environmental regulatory reporting and compliance.
- Assist with creation of standard operating procedures for new and existing equipment and processes as needed.
- Provide technical support to members of the engineering team.
- Drive continuous improvement by evaluation of existing operations to reduce safety and environmental risk.
The Process Engineer should have:
- Bachelor's Degree in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering
- 2+ years of related experience in process engineering in a chemical manufacturing environment, or related field
- Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office applications, AutoCAD, and SAP experience
