A leader in the Hospitality industry is seeking a Procurement Analyst that will play a crucial role in supporting their transformation initiative. Your responsibilities include performing critical analyses, developing tools, and creating task aids to enhance Procurement processes.
Metrics Definition and Tracking:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define Procurement metrics across People, Process, Technology, and Governance
- Establish mechanisms to track progress toward our transformation goals.
Complex Analysis and Project Management:
- Conduct both quantitative and qualitative analyses for business processes and projects
- Manage small projects or specific components of larger initiatives.
Decision-Making and Risk Management:
- Address complex and non-routine business requests, making informed decisions with limited to moderate risk.
Team Contribution and Leadership:
- Take ownership of your work and contribute to team, department, and overall business results.
- Provide guidance to less senior staff, acting as a point of contact for problem resolution.
- Participate in setting department operating plans and celebrate team successes.
Continuous Improvement and Skill Development:
- Identify opportunities to enhance business processes.
- Independently improve your skills and knowledge.
Data Analysis and Strategic Insights:
- Gather and analyze data related to spend details, purchasing practices, supplier performance, and more.
- Synthesize data to identify category insights and opportunities.
- Provide recommendations for category and sourcing initiatives.
Supply Base Monitoring and Collaboration:
- Monitor the supply base for assigned category areas.
- Collaborate with Category Managers to identify potential opportunities.
Process Optimization and Value Delivery:
- Contribute to establishing best-in-class processes, tools, and governance within Procurement.
- Ensure value delivery to the organization
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in supply chain, engineering, finance, economics, business administration, or related field
- 3+ years of relevant experience
- Strong data analysis skills
- Proven ability to generate high quality outputs
