Position Overview:
As a Procurement Data Analyst, you will play a critical role in supporting our procurement strategy through data analysis, insights generation, and process optimisation. You will be responsible for analysing procurement data, identifying trends, and providing actionable recommendations to enhance our procurement processes and drive cost efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collect, clean, and analyse procurement data from various sources.
- Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to monitor procurement performance.
- Identify trends, patterns, and anomalies in procurement data to support decision-making.
- Collaborate with procurement and cross-functional teams to understand data needs and deliver insights.
- Conduct spend analysis, supplier performance analysis, and market trend analysis.
- Support the development and implementation of procurement strategies based on data insights.
- Assist in the preparation of procurement reports, presentations, and recommendations for senior management.
- Ensure data integrity, accuracy, and consistency across all procurement-related data sources.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in procurement analysis.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Supply Chain Management, Data Science, or a related field.
- Proven experience (2+ years) in a data analysis role, preferably within procurement or supply chain.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets and generate actionable insights.
- Proficiency in data analysis tools and software (e.g., Excel, Power BI).
- Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to present findings clearly and concisely.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Fluency in English; proficiency in German is needed for this position
