A leading industrial machinery company specializing in packaging solutions is looking for a motivated procurement professional to run strategic procurement initiatives and implement effective purchasing processes and vendor relationship management to assure quality, cost, and delivery.
The Procurement Manager will be responsible for:
- Negotiate prices and terms while building relationships with key suppliers
- Analyze spending for indirect and direct materials for purchase savings
- Collaborate with internal departments to identify needs for equipment, materials, products and develop acceptable solutions
- Follow market trends to predict future supply availability
The Procurement Manager should have the following qualifications:
- 5-10 years of experience in supply chain management
- Experience managing a team
- Experience managing a spend for indirect and direct procurement categories
- Bachelor's degree
