Our client, a leading and growing global provider of advanced engineered solutions for the aerospace and transportation industries, is seeking a dedicated individual for a Senior Procurement Manager role. You will be responsible for assigning workloads and driving the performance of our client's dynamic procurement teams. Dive into the action of selecting suppliers, negotiating prices and schedules, and tracking supplier On-Time Delivery (OTD) performance. Responsibilities:
- Sourcing, negotiation, contracting and executing agreements to fulfill day-to-day business needs.
- Manage project related teams and initiatives
- Process improvements and process expertise for procurement
- Commodity management support (assisting in implementing process improvements and supplier integration, etc.)
- Help implement S&OP Processes and Continuous Improvement
- Aid in the leadership of the site and assist the plant manager
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 4 years' experience in Procurement Management
- Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution required.
- Minimum of 3 years' experience in a Manufacturing environment
- Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
- Aerospace or related industry experience (mechanical hardware)
- Relevant experience with raw materials, metals, nuts and bolts, sheet metals, etc.
- Leadership experience
- High urgency, accountability, strong communication skills
