Summary:
DSJ Global is working with a leading agriculture/construction machinery manufacturing client seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join their team as a Product Certification Engineer. The candidate will play a crucial role in managing all certification efforts related to product development, ensuring compliance with industry standards, testing requirements, and regulatory frameworks. The Product Certification Engineer will be responsible for overseeing the entire certification process, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and coordinating with third-party certification bodies and vendors.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage all aspects of product certification activities throughout the development life cycle.
- Develop and implement certification strategies aligned with company goals and objectives.
- Conduct thorough research on applicable standards, including ISO, ANSI, and other relevant certifications.
- Ensure products meet CE marking and other certification requirements.
- Collaborate with internal testing teams to ensure accurate and reliable test results.
- Coordinate with external certification bodies and agencies to facilitate the certification process.
- Build and maintain relationships with third-party vendors and consulting agencies involved in the certification process.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field.
- Proven experience in product certification and compliance management.
- In-depth knowledge of relevant industry standards, including ISO 26262, ISO 13849, ANSI B56.1, EN-1175.
- Familiarity with CE marking and other certification requirements.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams.
