As a Project Procurement Manager for this chemical company, you will be responsible for managing the procurement process for all materials, equipment, and services needed for our projects. You will work closely with our project management team to ensure that all procurement activities are aligned with project timelines and budgets.
This role is located on-site outside of Savannah, GA.
Project Procurement Manager Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement purchasing strategies, manage supplier relationships, and negotiate contracts for all materials and services.
- Work closely with production and quality control teams to ensure timely delivery of materials and maintain inventory levels.
- Review and revise contracts with suppliers.
Project Procurement Manager Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in supply chain management or a related field
- 5+ years of experience in purchasing Maintenance, Repair, and Operations within the chemical industry
- Extensive experience working with MRP/ERP systems and Excel
