DSJ Global is partnered with a leading manufacturer in the automotive industry. This company contributes to making wheel alignment systems and vehicle inspection systems. They are looking to add a Quality Engineer to their team in the Greater Jackson Mississippi area. This role will primarily be responsible for assuring quality in all phases of the manufacturing process and ensuring the products are consistent with the established standards.
Responsibilities:
- Perform product launch process for the new products within the designated department
- Works with buyers to address vendor quality of products
- Improve production systems through standards techniques
- Maintain the calibration database for fixtures, tools, and gages
- Apply SPC methods to analyze data for the current process
- Rejects nonconforming parts using a standardized process
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field
- 1+ years of quality assurance experience in a manufacturing environment
- 1+ years of experience working in a manufacturing environment
- Root cause analysis experience
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suites
