The Quality Engineering position is a "hands- on" role that will bring a high level of energy and accountability to maximize product quality for military products.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for leading process and product improvement initiatives across various functional disciplines
- Responsible for engineering/ test and supplier documentation and provide input to assure that the quality requirements are being addressed
- Lead, develop, maintain, and deploy quality plans and activities that translate customer requirements into planned activities
- Take charge of customer quality program requirements
- Support quality systems to include performing internal audits, ensuring implementation of root cause corrective actions
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or related technical field or equivalent experience and a minimum of 5 years of experience.
- Proficient technical expertise and application domain knowledge
- Ability to understand military specifications and to read blueprints
- Proficient with ISO/AS standards
- Black Belt or ASQ Certification preferred
