About the Role:
A leading Chemical Manufacturer is seeking a strong Quality Manager to lead and develop the team as well as manage and improve the quality management system. The chosen individual will be tasked to initiate improvement measures in cooperation with other departments in case of deviations.
As an integral part of the plant, the Quality Manager will add value to a company that has shown consistent growth over the years. At a company the leads the global market in insulation products, the individual chosen for the role will have the ability to move up to a corporate level role after excelling in their position. Once acclimated to the company culture, the manager will have the opportunity to showcase their leadership and technical abilities to aid in the company's profitable expansion. They will oversee endorsing and aiding the plant's ongoing improvement efforts through creating SOP's while working in conjunction with Operations as well as other support roles.
Responsibilities of the Quality Manager:
- Management and responsibility for the quality department
- Reporting key figures to the management and initiate improvement measures in cooperation with other departments in case of deviations
- Maintenance, adjustment and further development of our quality management system on site
- Planning and execution of all internal and external audits
- Ensure the integrated management system, process and product quality and improve it continuously
- First point of contact for our customers, suppliers and other departments in topics related to quality
The Ideal Quality Manager will have:
- 3+ years experience in a Quality Management role in the Food Production industry
- Bachelor's Degree
- ASQ certified
- Strong intrapersonal skills with an ability to lead direct reports, manage up and communicate to all members of the facility
- A proven track record for building world class quality teams and mentoring, coaching & upscaling employees
- Servant and Dynamic leadership style
- Proven mentorship experience
