They are one of the leaders within the Aerospace Products and Parts Manufacturing industry! This team is looking to bring on a Digital Design Engineer to their growing team! This Digital Design Engineer would be responsible for creating miniature microwave receivers for government and military applications.
The Digital Design Engineer would be responsible for:
- Work with senior engineering staff to build, test, and deliver fully realized product designs
- Independently develop digital system/subsystem implementations for variety of products
- Participate in hardware/software integration
- Develop and deliver review materials that communicate design plans to staff
- Understand and comply with company engineering policies and processes
- ESD Awareness
The Digital Design Engineer would have the following qualifications:
- Experience in developing and implementing programmable logic/software architectures that meet customer and internal requirements
- Possess an understanding of digital hardware designs including review of datasheets, working from schematics, and using other design artifacts
- Strong background in programmable logic (VHDL) and digital design; experience in software development in C
- Experience developing for Xilinx FPGAs and use of Xilinx development toolchains is required
- Must be able to obtain security clearance
- Experience developing for Linux and/or RTOS environments is a plus
