Job Title: Sales Manager - Inter-modal Freight Forwarding

Position Overview: The Sales Manager will be responsible for managing and developing key accounts within the road freight and inter-modal sector. This role focuses on customer retention and relationship management, with an emphasis on supporting tender management and strategic development. The ideal candidate will work out of our new Helsinki office, collaborating with existing customers and contributing to the company's growth in Finland.
Key Responsibilities:
- Key Account Management: Manage and develop established key accounts, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and retention.
- Customer Retention: Focus on maintaining and strengthening relationships with existing customers, identifying opportunities for growth and improvement.
- Tender Management Support: Assist in the preparation and management of tenders, ensuring competitive and compelling proposals.
- Strategy Development: Contribute to the development of sales strategies, aligning with company goals and market demands.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the internal team and international contacts across Europe to ensure seamless service delivery and customer satisfaction.
- Networking: While this is not a hunting role, bringing in new contacts through your existing network will be considered a valuable bonus.
- Office Operations: Operate out of the new Helsinki office, contributing to a positive and productive work environment.
Qualifications:
- Experience: Proven experience in road freight and inter-modal freight forwarding.
- Skills: Strong customer relationship management skills, with a focus on retention and satisfaction.
- Language: Fluency in Finnish and English is essential.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Flexibility: Ability to work in a hybrid setting, with both in-office and remote work options.
- Strategic Thinking: Ability to develop and implement effective sales strategies.
