Job Title: Senior Contracts Manager
Location: Mercer County, New Jersey (4 days onsite)
Responsibilities:
- Establish and maintain relationships with strategic partners including finance, procurement, risk compliance, legal, facilities, etc.
- Manage complex multi-million dollar architect-engineer and construction agreements.
- Lead sourcing activities for design, construction and related services utilizing various data (previous spend, previous supplier performance, etc.), market information and operational objectives to deliver long-term value.
- Lead supplier negotiations, analyze proposals, and facilitate competitive bidding events.
- Review documents to support and promote supplier diversity and selection process.
- Create detailed bid/proposal comparison documents for selection team members.
- Manage and lead a team of contract administrators.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in supply chain management, economics, finance, operations, business or related area.
- 5 to 7 years in procurement, contract administration or other relevant supply chain management or business position.
- Experience with construction/design or facilities contracts.
- Analytical skills to quickly gather facts, perform root cause analysis, and draw conclusions.
- Extensive experience managing change across multiple stakeholder groups.
- Excellent communication- oral, written, and interpersonal skills for interaction with team members and stakeholders.
- Experience drafting contract language and/or procurement policies and procedures.
- Experience with Source to Pay lifecycle tools and processes including leading practices.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Supervisory experience - preferred
- CPM or CPSM certification- preferred
- Experience with Jaggaer eProcurement tools - preferred
- Experience with SRM - preferred
