Sr. Electrical Engineer
The Senior Electrical Engineer will be an integral part of the Ennis, TX Site Engineering team handling capital projects and plant support. For capital projects, responsibilities include participating in facility expansion designs, developing electrical designs/specs, construction management, and commissioning equipment. For plant support, evaluating existing electrical systems, managing proactive maintenance programs, conducting engineering studies, and providing technical operations support.
How You Will Make an Impact
- Review contractor electrical drawings, specs and guide electrical scope/requirements
- Develop and evaluate designs ensuring technical accuracy and compliance
- Ensure projects meet safety, timeliness, cost, and quality standards
- Conform to NEC, NESC, NEMA, IEEE, ANSI standards
- Develop/manage proactive electrical maintenance program
- Perform load studies, arc flash analysis, power management studies
- Manage project budgets, forecasts, cash flow projections
- Create design documents, drawings, scope of work
- Coordinate consultants, vendors, subcontractors
- Provide operations troubleshooting support
- Implement new equipment/technologies to improve reliability, quality, sustainability
- Support equipment safety standards/procedures
What You Will Bring
- Bachelor's in Engineering (Electrical/Electro-Mechanical preferred)
- 8+ years project engineering experience (3+ in food/beverage manufacturing preferred)
- Plant design/construction project experience
- Power distribution and machine/motor control knowledge
- Knowledge of NEC, NESC, NEMA, IEEE, ANSI standards
- Ability to read/write/analyze technical documents
- AutoCAD proficiency preferred
